Faux-Rattan Paper Weave Fabric

Natural rattan looks beautiful but has three major issues: it absorbs water, swells and molds in rain, and is susceptible to insect damage. It is also heavy. Our Faux-Rattan Paper Weave Fabric solves all three problems. We use paper yarn coated with a waterproof layer just 0.02 mm thick. The fabric is 40% lighter than natural rattan, giving you the same aesthetic without the maintenance issues.

This fabric is intended for indoor or semi-outdoor use, such as covered patios, sunrooms, or screened porches. Its water resistance rating is IPX3, meaning it can withstand rain splashes but should not be submerged in standing water. Comparison with natural rattan:

The waterproof coating is applied via a precise roller method, controlled to ±0.003 mm. Our coating line can process up to 20,000 meters per day, easily meeting large orders.
